Birmingham, School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Chair of Sports Psychology. The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences achieved a 5A rating (on a scale of 1 to 5*) in the last national Research Assessment Exercise, the only Sport and Exercise Department in the UK to do achieve such a high research rating. To consolidate and expand its research base, the School wishes to appoint an academic with an international research reputation to a newly established Chair in Sports Psychology. The person appointed will be expected to take the lead in developing both research and teaching in Sports Psychology and will receive generous support to achieve these ends.
