i'd like to know about you.

georgetown
I went down to Georgetown University last weekend to visit my friends Mike and Erin, and to see my friend Vin at American U.
My friend and former neighbor Liz joined me on the trip--she was going down to visit her high-school friend.  We left our dorm at 4:40 in the morning on Friday the 27th of March which was Dan Brito's 20th birthday.  My alarm did not go off in the morning, probably because BriTo shut it off, so Liz woke me by telephone and we took the cab ride from hell.  The driver had been on shift for the previous eight hours and he drove down the twisting, unlit, country roads at 60 miles per hour.  60 is not that fast but it was 4:45 in the morning, and the roads were twisty, and I think the guy was drinking.
After checking in, we boarded our plane at 6:00 am.  The plane was a Dash 8, 30 seater, and we walked out onto the tarmac to board.  The flight was Liz, myself, and a businessman, a flight attendant named John, and the pilot and co-pilot.  The first leg of our trip was a smooth flight in the small plane, and we touched down in Allentown to pick up a dozen more passengers.  John took extra good care of us, giving us full cans of juice, and giving Liz extra peanuts (the girl is obsessed with planes and peanuts).  Liz also got to sit in the pilot's seat when we stopped in Allentown.   I suppose when a pretty girl smiles, men let her do anything...
we land in the district of columbia...
