How to join

The current game that I am hosting is still running, but may be erratic over the holidays.

Host runs are made on Monday and at 11:59 PM EST (GMT -05:00)

Please note that new players are added on weekends. When you apply to join the current game you should receive your invitation file and be added to the mailing list on the following Monday

X-SPACE is a new Play By Email game. Similar to VGA Planets but much larger in scope. To get your copy of the game go here Xoftware

For those of you who want it here is a description of the game

• Xpace - The New Frontier(TM) is the latest in the genre of multi-player, space strategy games which sport a turn-by-turn play format. Unlike its predecessors, this game is gigantic in scope. Up to 200 players can participate in a single game. The universe includes over 50,000 star systems and even more planets. Each player can build unlimited fleets of customized ships.
• Players experience the realism of running an empire through localized technology, delayed communications and the ability to physically move the emperor throughout the empire. The macro-proportions of this game are made manageable in many ways, including empire management windows, route automation, command ships and local planetary governments.
• Any player can host a game with what comes in the package. However I am currently hosting a game, if you wish to join leave me E-Mail. One of the good things about this game is that it is open ended, the game can go for as long as you want it to. As well people can join in the middle of the game without a problem.

   Please make the subject of all messages having to do with joining the game "join". This will cause you to recieve an e-mail with instructions on how to join the game. All messages that have to do with you .ply turns "ply"  this will make sure that you will receive a message telling you that your file has been received.  Also thanks to Matt for pointing out that the files must be zipped when you send them to me or it gets garbled up in the mail. The only exception to this is if you use Microsoft's Outlook Express mail program. Please remember that the files that are posted here must be unzipped into your xpace/files dir
