Tony and Stan Musial are the only men ever to hit .300+ in 13 straight seasons.
Hit .473 to win NL Player of the Month honors for June, 1987. His 218 Hits and .370 Batting Average (highest in NL since Stan Musial's .376 in '48) in 1987 represented career-highs and led both leagues.
Tony was selected as Northwest League MVP in 1981.
Tony signed as a 3rd round Draft selection with the San Diego Padres, June 16, 1981 by Scout Cliff Ditto.
