After last Sundays pointless result
at Forest, Reading are now mathmaticaly religated to Division 2.
Next weekend, as we all know is the Royals last game of the season,
last game at Elm Park, and also last game in division one. Its been
a disappointing season, but then.. the last two season have been
pretty disappointing. In them Reading have gone through countless managers,
brought countless rubbish players and gone down.
Lets hope for better things to come next season! While your at the game
next Sunday and you can't bare the thought of going down, then buy a bottle of
Elm Park beer made from the grass roots of Elm Park (watch out for that hamster!).
Also watch out for the special edition of "The Whiff" on sale out side the ground.

Quitters
Dariusz Wdowczyk became the second Reading player in 24
hours to announce he is quitting the club to move abroad.
Following Trevor Morley's announcement that he will quit
the club to emigrate to Norway, the ex-Celtic defender says
he will also be leaving the club in the summer to return to
his native Poland.
Reading, whose game at high-flying Nottingham Forest
on Sunday is live on Sky, have confirmed that they will be
sharing their new Madejski Stadium with Richmond Rugby
Club next season. (23rd April 1998)
