EVENTS Girls and Boys Singles and Doubles, Mixed Doubles. Maximum of 3 events per participant.
AGE CATEGORIES: Under 21, Under 19, Under 16, Under 14, Under 12.
(eligibility determined by age as of 1/1 /99)
ENTRY FEES: $40. All participants must be USA Badminton members or members of their national organization, if not US. USAB tournament-only membership fee is $15 and may be purchased on entry. Entry fee includes player's Saturday dinner/dance ticket. Dinner/dance guest tickets, $7.50.

SANCTION: This tournament is sanctioned by USA Badminton. Results will be submitted for ranking purposes.

10 minute default rule will be strictly enforced
PRIZES: Will be awarded to first and second place winners.
SHUTTLES: Feather shuttles shall be used in all matches. Up to two shuttles will be supplied for each main flight match and one for each consolation match. Additional shuttles, if needed, must be provided by participants. Shuttles will be available for purchase.
SNACK BAR: Concession stand will be available at each venue.
DINNER: Dinner is planned for Saturday, May 15, at 7 p.m.. Player's dinner is included in the entry fee. Family members and friends are welcome to attend for a guest fee of $7.50.
HOUSING: We recommend that players take advantage of our housing available for Friday and Saturday nights. Please make arrangements as early as possible by contacting Libby Parker at 781-639-1770 or by e-mail at epjparker@aol.com.
TRANSPORTATION: Pickup may be arranged in advance for those arriving at Boston's Logan International Airport and South Station for train or arrivals. Contact Libby Parker at 781-639-1770 or by e-mail at epjparker@aol.com.
DIRECTIONS: Swampscott and Marblehead are located on the coast approximately 17 miles north of Boston. From downtown Boston, take the Callahan Tunnel to Rte. 1A north 9-1/2 miles to Lynn. Then follow Rte 129 along the coast to Swampscott and then Marblehead.

From west or north of Boston, take Rte. 128 to Rte 114. Follow 114 east through Peabody and Salem, carefully watching signs as the road takes many turns before reaching Marblehead.
