With Ryan Klesko
Here is another fans' story **in his own words** of meeting Ryan Klesko!! Enjoy the story and picture!!!
Well, here is my story about me meeting my favorite baseball player and
my idol -Ryan Klesko!
It was on March 17th, me and my family were in Florida on a Family
vacation at Disney World, me being a HUGE Braves Fan and knowing that
the Braves Spring Training complex was at Disney World begged my parents
to take me to a Spring Training Game, and they did, well my mom did
actually.I was real nervous, i knew that i had a better chance of
meeting Ryan or any of the other Braves here than i had in
Atlanta,although i had gotten Ryan's autograph in Atlanta little less
than a year before, i was still nervous about the game.
Well, we watched most of the game, when i noticed that Ryan was not
playing, i decided to ask where i could try to get Autos, they told me
where to go, and me and my mom started down there.When we got there
there was alot of talk in the crowd, which was about 25-30 people.I then
learned that i had just missed Chipper Jones bye about 3 mins., i was
disappointed since Chipper was my 2nd Favorite Brave. but then i saw
someone walking towards the crowd, i then realized it was him, it was
RYAN KLESKO!!!, everyone started shouting Ryan,Ryan.. At first i thought
he might just pass us, then he came closer and started sighning, i
immediately got my digital camera out and my baseball and was getting
ready, my heart was beating the fastest it has ever beat. Ryan was begin
extremely nice, he's very down to earth., i could not believe he was
getting closer, he kind of just didn't really talk to much people, just
this one guy who i guess Klesko had met earlier that day or sometime in
the past., then i think that guy left. And then i realized he was
standing right in front of me.So, i took a deep breath and said"Ryan",
he said"Yeah" i said would you mind taking a picture with me, he
said"Sure, that's no problem" i had to show the girl that i asked to
take the picture how to use the camera(which is kind of the reason my
head barely made the picture ) ,so she took the picture and i told Ryan
thanks, he said No Problem, i then gave him my ball and he sighned it,
while he was sighning i said to him"Ryan, i really look up to you" he
just looked at me for 1 sec and said"Wow, thanks" and asked me what my
name was, i told him my name(which is Adam bye the way), he then said
pleased to meet you Adam, and said to me"Thats a Nice shirt you have
there, and then asked where i got it, i told him i had gotten it for
Christmas, and said that my dad had gotten it while he was on a Business
trip in Atlanta about a month before Christmas.He then said again it was
real nice and said he didn't see much of those in the crowd. then he
said well i better go, and i said Bye Ryan, he said take it easy Bud.
I really enjoyed talking to Ryan, like i said he's very nice and very
down to earth.
