  Long
time senior County Cork player with honours including All-Ireland Junior Championship. Joined Shamrocks late in the 2000 season, scoring 2
points from the back line. Valuable contributor
to team coaching. Queensland captain at the 2000 Australasian Gaelic
Games, and named in the Australasian team at wing-back. Played a
handful of games in 2001 and scored 2 points before returning home. Mary come out from Ireland on holiday in 2003 and played one game.

Shamrocks seventh-leading scorer in 1999 with 3 goals 1
point as a 12-year-old. Transferred to Souths in 2000.

Debuted in 2000 with limited games.
Anthony Lagan
  Senior
debut for Shamrocks in 2001. From the Fr Rocks club in Cookstown,
County Tyrone, Ireland, where he was a teammate of former Shamrocks
championship players Stephen and Eoin Mulligan. More familiar to
teammates as "Stigsy". Played for Queensland against the
touring Connaught schools all-star team. Scored 4 points in the winning
2001 Brisbane Shield final, and the Shamrocks leading-scorer for the
season. Won the 2000 New South Wales championship with
Penrith Gaels. Represented Queensland at the 2001 Australasian Games in
Melbourne, scoring the point against Western Australia that ultimately
secured Queensland's first semi final berth since 1998.

Best & Fairest Minors Player award winner for Shamrocks in 1999.
Returned for second half of the 2001 season.

Management (Marketing), University of Queensland. Debuted in 1998,

limited games in 1999, but they included both the winning
Brisbane Shield and Championship finals for the reserves. Played a
handful of games in 2000.
Sean Loughlin

Co. West Meath, Ireland, registered and spent the 2001 pre-season with
Shamrocks but returned home before the first game.
Trevor
Lynch
 From
the Mitchelstown, County Cork, where he plays with the Mitchelstown
club in football and Ballygibblin for hurling. Won an All Ireland University freshers hurling
medal with UCC in 1993 and an All Ireland Colleges Senior handball
medal in 1995, and runners-up in 1996. Won a county junior hurling
medal in 1993. His brother Diarmuid currently plays for the Cork
intermediates hurling and football. Joined
Shamrocks in 2001 and appointed assistant senior coach upon the
departure of Alan Colleran. Scored 5 points in the winning 2001 Brisbane
Shield final. Finished the season as Shamrocks' third-leading scorer.

Peadar McCaffrey
 From
the Gaeil Colmcille club in Kells, County Meath, and Saint Pauls club
in Belfast. A former County Meath under 21 captain. Reached the Co
Antrim championship finals in 1999-2000, and before that has won a Co
Meath club championship and reached the championship final in Boston in
the United States. Debuted for Shamrocks in 2001
with a club-record 4 individual goals before leaving the pitch injured
midway through the second half, in a rematch of the 2000 championship
final. Finished the season as Shamrocks' second-leading scorer.
Queensland seniors runner-up Best & Fairest, and Shamrocks seniors
Most Consistent award-winner in 2001. Represented Queensland at
the 2001 Australasian Games in Melbourne, scoring a goal in the semi
final against eventual champions Victoria. Selected in the Australasian
All-star team.
Patricia McGirl-Duell
Shamrocks ladies team captain in 1999-2000. Queensland
representative at the Australasian Games in 1997-98. A goal scorer from
fullback in both 1999 and 2000. Club secretary in 2000. Queensland full
forward at the 2000 Australasian Gaelic Games in Adelaide, scoring a
goal against South Australia. Former
Queensland Rose of Tralee winner.

Debuted in 2000 and finished as Shamrocks tenth-leading scorer with 3
goals 2 points, playing in most positions in a injury-hampered season.
Denise McIntosh
Queensland representative at the Australasian Games in
1997-98-99, Queensland vice captain in 1998. Played with Shamrocks
1997-1998-1999.

Steven Morgan
From the Currogha club in County Meath. Only
played one match in 2001, when he was one of the best afield as he
scored one point in Shamrocks' opening game of the season. Cousin of
Shamrocks team mate Glen Carpenter.
Eoin Mulligan
From
the Fr Rocks club in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone. Debuted
for Shamrocks only weeks after winning the All-Ireland Under 21
Championship with Co. Tyrone. Set Shamrocks records for highest score
in a game (stood for three years), most points in a game (stood for two years), and most goals in a game (stood for one year).
Scored a hat-trick of goals in a game - remarkably in the same match as
older brother Stephen Mulligan. Finished as
Shamrocks third-leading
scorer with 7 goals 29 points in limited appearances. Scored 2-5 on
debut, then 3-6 in his second match. Key member of the Shamrocks' 2000
Championship-winning team.
Stephen Mulligan

the Fr Rocks club in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone. Set
Shamrocks records for highest score in a season, most goals in a
season, and once held most goals in a game. Scored two hat-tricks of goals. Played
the full 2000 season and finished as Shamrocks leading scorer with 13
goals 24 points. Played for Queensland in 2000 against the touring
Allied Irish Bank Club that included a string of Inter-county stars.
Assisted as mens team coach, contributing significantly to Shamrocks
winning the 2000 Senior Queensland
Championship.
Kim Nolan
Debuted in 2000, and scored 1 goal 3 points although in the end mostly
played defence. Shamrocks club treasurer 2000.

Spent
just two weeks with Shamrocks to start the 2001 season, debuting with 1
point in the reserves, and the match-clinching goal in the seniors.
Queensland long-puck champion from the 2001 sports day, and marched for
Shamrocks in the St Patrick's Day Parade. From the Butlerstown GAA club
in Waterford, Ireland. Broke his ankle playing hurling just weeks after
returning to Ireland.

From Co. Meath, Ireland, now an Australian citizenship.
Queensland representative at the 1999 Australasian Games.
1999 Shamrocks ladies Most Consistent award winner. Received
media coverage in the Meath Topic in 1999. Again outstanding at wing
back in 2000. Returned to Ireland after the 2000 season. From
Ballinakill, Enfield, County Meath.
Mary O'Sullivan
From Kilcummin, Killarney, Co.Kerry. Member of the Shamrocks
Ladies team winning the Brisbane Shield, GAA Trophy and
League treble. Scored 2 points for Shamrocks after a full
season, her first of Gaelic football. Received media
coverage in the Kerry's Eye newspaper.
