DAVE'S POSTGAME ANALYSIS

Another home game, another Butler romp. The Bulldogs' stingy defense limited Belmont's long range bombers to 3-17 from 3-point range and 28% overall en route to a 79-35 pasting of the Bruins. Every Bulldog in uniform scored, led by Rylan Hainje's 19 points. LaVall Jordan added 12 points, and Thomas Jackson chipped in with 10. With the departure of Michael Hicks, we were down to 7 players with extensive playing time so far this season. Mike Moore, Lewis Curry, and Jason Myers were each given an opportunity to show what they could do, and each took advantage. Moore had his best game so far, with 5 points and 3 boards in 7 minutes. Curry showed a nice stroke from outside, and finished with 5 points as well. Myers finished the Bulldog scoring with a 3-pointer to ensure that all players scored.

The 2-game home stand comes to an end Wednesday the 22nd when Nevada comes to town. This game marks the long awaited debut of transfer center Scott Robisch. Game time is 7:00 pm. Hope to see you there.
