BUTLER 62, BUTLER ALUMNI ALL-STARS 43

It was an ugly game at times, but that's to be expected at the first preseason game. I don't have a box score for this game, but I can tell you that our leading scorers were Mike Marshall with 17, followed by Rylan Hainje with 11 and LaVall Jordan with 10. Highlights for Marshall included a 3-pointer to put the current Bulldogs on the board, and an alley-oop courtesy of a sweet pass from Thomas Jackson. The former Bulldogs were led by Jon Neuhouser's 10 points. It was good to see so many familiar faces back on the Hinkle hardwood.

The following players did not dress for the game: Ryan Murray, Ben Grunst, Scott Robisch, and Luke Reed. Of particular interest to me on that list is Grunst--does this mean we're redshirting him? Stay tuned...
