DAVE'S POSTGAME ANALYSIS

Not our strongest effort, but I guess I'll take it. We jumped out to a 13-1 lead, then IUPUI battled back to tie us up in the first half. We came out strong in the second half and stretched the lead out past 20. Then I think Coach Collier called off the dogs a bit too soon. Joel Cornette and Mike Marshall both fouled out around midway through the second half. The entire team seemed to let up, and that's when the Jaguars turned up the pressure. They forced us into 10 second half turnovers and shaved half the 20 point deficit away, but could get no closer. I have to hand it to them, they stayed with it when they could have very easily packed it up. Rylan Hainje led the way with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 blocks. Scott Robisch got his second start as a Bulldog, scoring 13 points and hauling in 8 rebounds. LaVall Jordan added 13 points and 7 rebounds. Cornette made his presence known in his few minutes of play with 5 blocked shots.

The Dawgs once again face their biggest enemy, the road. The first of 3 straight away from Hinkle is this Thursday in Chicago against UIC. Game time is 8:00 EST.
