DAVE'S POSTGAME ANALYSIS

A bittersweet day at Hinkle Fieldhouse for fans of Butler basketball. They saw the Bulldogs roll to their 12th straight win, and 16th straight at home. They disposed of the UIC Flames 84-60, finishing a perfect 13-0 at home. It meant a 4th straight 20-win season. It also meant that seniors Andrew Graves and Mike Marshall are now the winningest class in Butler history. BUT...it also marked the final time that we get to see that tandem in uniform at Hinkle. Both went out on a high note: Marshall finished with 11 points and 8 rebounds, and Graves added 13 points. Everyone played and scored for Butler. LaVall Jordan, coming off the bench to allow Andrew to start, led the way with 16 points. He was 6-7 from the floor to break out of a mini-shooting slump. Scott Robisch added 10 points and was a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. As a team we hit 83% (29-35) from the charity stripe. Finding himself heavily guarded once again, Thomas Jackson dished out 10 assists. A nice one to have heading into MCC tournament play

We know we're the number one seed; who we play will be determined this evening. There's a decent chance that team will be Loyola, but we'll have to wait and see. Regardless, Butler will play at 3:00 EST on Saturday, March 4. I hope each and every one of you will make the trip to Chicago for the tournament.
