Idiot's Delight
A quick game that's pure luck
Number of Players: 1
Equipment Needed: One deck of 52 cards
- Ace is high
Setup: After shuffling the cards, deal
four of them face up in a row.
Object of the Game: To end up with only
four cards left.
How to Play: Look at the four cards you
have dealt. If there is a pair of two cards of the same number but different suit,
discard both cards. If you have two cards of the same suit, discard
only the card of that suit with the lowest number. If you happen
to have three of the same number, only discard two, and if you have
three of the same suit, discard the two lowest numbers. After you have
discarded all cards possible, deal another four cards in the same place
you dealt the last group. This can cover spaces and cards still left.
Repeat the discarding process. You cannot remove cards until all 4 new cards
have been dealt. Continue this until you cannot make another move
and you have no cards left to deal. If you have only 4 cards total left,
you won!
