Delivery methods are selected to ensure the most cost effective and widespread dissemination of information. Mailed materials are issued one per household. Targeted audiences and the intent of the publication determine the content. If you do not receive a publication to which you are entitled, please contact your staff advisor or the Girl Scout Service Center. A Girl Scout Summer Provides camp and summer program information & registration forms to registerd girls and volunteers. (Issued through US Mail in February) Annual Report Reports accomplishments and financial information of previous year to Board, president's advisory cabinet, reporesentative assembly delegates and community leaders. Issued through US Mail, Rep Assembly and Recognition Luncheon in April Connections Newsletter Provides program information and registration forms to Cadette & Senior Girl Scouts inluding appropriate age level Metro Green, P.E.G.S. and bridging Junior Girl Scouts (January issue), administrative volunteers, Cadette leaders and Senior advisors. Issued through US Mail in January and September. Council Calendar Internal calendar listing district, board, board committee meetings; fall funds and cookie dates covering August to August for administrative volunteers, board committees and board members. Issued through Neighborhood and committee meetings in August. Girl Scout Calendar Fund raising activity for troops and the council; promotes Girl Scout visibility in the community. Sold to the general public and complimentary copies to community leaders and large donors. Girls delivery door-to-door or through the US Mail in November. Insight Newsletter Provides information about Girl Scout programs to community leaders, president's advisory cabinet, Girl Scout leaders, volunteers and parents. Issued though US Mail in January, June, and September. Neighborhood Announcement Sheets General announcements on community events and updated Girl Scout information for leaders and administrative volunteers. Issued at Neighboorhood meetings in Jan/Feb/Mar/May/Sept/Oct/Nov. Pathways Provides information and registration for course listings for the council's adult education program; alumni organization news, and activities; adult recognitions; articles of general interest to adult volunteers. Mailed to all registered adults and Senior Girl Scouts. Issued through US Mail in Janaury and July. Spectrum Provides troop support program for leaders; advertises upcoming events for girls; provides registration materials: Trips & Tours included every other fall. Mailed to all registed leaders and administrative volunteers. Issued through US Mail in Janaury and August. The Link Provides information aobut Girl Scout Council programs, membership, and support opportunities to corporate leaders, board, and president's advisory cabinet. Issued through US Mail in Janaury and June. VDP News Provides information to council instructors, District Trainng Managers and Registrars. Issued through US Mail 2-3 times per year. Volunteer Resource Guide Provides general information on council procedures, standards & policies, age levels, camp program, recognitions, safety and troop financing, council level fund raising for all leaders, co-leaders, and adminstrative volunteers. Issued through US Mail and via Field Executives and Neighborhood Chairs. Revised every 3 years. Urban Perspective Provides informatio on urban programs to churches, schools, parents, colleges and community groups. Issued through US Mail in the Spring and Fall.
