The Hawker Dankok was a modified Hawker Woodcock Mk. II.
Three (151-153) was delivered as from Hawker (who named them Danecock) with a further twelve (154-165) being
licencebuilt by Orlogsværftet (the Danish Naval Yard). They served with 2. luftflotille
(Squadron) from 1927 to 1937 when they were replaced by Hawker Nimrods. No 158 is still preserved at Dansk Veteranflysamling in Stauning.
The Dankok was the second II Landbased Biplane to be used by the Danish Navy
The key points in the design is the 3WF, a three studs wide fuselage which is the smallest that can hold a minifig. The upper wing has an even wingspan and is joined to the rest of the aircraft by SOBAH (Studs Offset By A Half) This aircraft was actually designed more than a year ago but I have simply been too busy at work to upload it. |

Gun One Madsen machine gun is mounted on each side of the fuselage It would be nice if the old gear was available in dark grey, as they are just perfect as a radial engine! |
