Jarvis Tetch was a really weird, shy fellow (wouldn't you be if you had a name like that?) who developed a crush on his secretary. Her name was Alice. When she spurned his advances he flipped out and started dressing like the Mad Hatter from the story "Alice in Wonderland." He then used mind control to control her and dressed her like Alice (In Wonderland - not Alice the secretary). Although I think he is over her now, he still uses various mind control chips to control people and animals into doing his dirty work. He is an expert in computers and technology.
