DRILLS FOR AGILITY & STRENGTH

Agility Drills-
I) Jumping over the line
a) Two feet (20 second intervals - rest 20 seconds)
b) One foot (20 second intervals - rest 20 seconds)

2) Jumping over the lines
    20 second intervals

3) Jumping with knees touching chest
    20 second intervals
    Jumping with heels touching butt
    20 second intervals

4) Place hand above head into shooting position #2 and move feet laterally as quickly as possible.
  10 second intervals

5) Jump rope (light light and heavy weight)   (without rope)

Strength Drills -
  I) Push-ups against the wall (l ball and 2 basketballs) Start with 5 increase daily to 20

  2) Push-ups on floor (2 basketballs - start on knees, gradually working to a regular push-UP)
    Start with 5 increase daily to 20 - Chest to the floor!

  3) Two ball "crush". Dribble two basketballs as strongly as possible - high & low and alternate.

  4) Dribble a ball and pass a ball (against the wall) or to another player.

  5) Heavy ball (medicine) 4-6 Ib. Do ball handling and shooting drills.
