Jordan's JDMS Diary

November 1999

November 8
Jordan saw Dr. C today. Her physical ablities haven't changed. Her rash has looked gradually worse over the past few months. He explained that being under florescent lights will make it worse. That explains why that since she went back to school, the rash has been more noticable. He prescribed two creams. One for her face and one for her hands and arms. Only the exposed parts of her body seem to have the rash which is understandable. We are going to be more diligent in applying sun screen too.

Her lab results were not quite as good as they have been. her Aldolase was up. It should be less than 8 and hers was 9.4. Dr. C decided not to change her medication this month again.

She is enjoying the basketball team. She does have a hard time keeping up with the older girls, but seems to be able to keep up with the ones her age. She does tire easily during the game but we feel this may be due to the lack of physical exercise. We're going to watch her closely to see if any lose of strength occurs.

We got part of her lab results back today. Her Aldolase has come down some. It was 8.9. I didnt get the other results but will keep you informed. Her rash immediately looked better after just a few days of using the cream. Thank goodness.

She was relieved to hear her Aldolase went down too. Its very hard to conceal concern, especially from such a bright little girl. We will continue to pray for the best.

We hope that each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
