The families of the United States Reserves face oppression in many ways. Even with a college education the families are held back from being employed based still on the color of their skin. Many families are in a situation that they would not like to be found in. It is our prayer that you will find a desire to begin to assist these families in anyway that you can.
It is at this time of winter 98 that the children & elders are facing the death defying winter cold. The bare open plains are blowing the wind chill factor to below 55 degrees and less throughout the night. Inadequate insulation and heating systems are freezing people to death, can you please send at least one BLANKET to any of the addresses listed on the Contacts page.
MORNING STAR OUTREACH hopes to activate the reader to clean closets and drawers and send good, new, quality clothing, linen, blankets and furniture to the children and elders of the LAKOTA. Please contact UPS, FED EX or POSTAL SERVICE to ship provisions direct to one of the reservations located in South or North Dakota.

To broaden your knowledge of these reservations and their exact locations, please ask one of these contacts to update you with their literature. Please send a self addressed stamped envelope when writing. You begin to assist with your inquiry.

Morning Star Outreach is seeking canning equipment, vegetable seeds and garden tools to assist in gardening and canning.
Personal hygiene products such as toiletries, soaps, laundry products included, combs, brushes, barretts, mirrors, tooth brushes and toothpaste, with shaving equipment and hair ribbons are all needed by the children and families.
Winter clothing, summer and spring and fall clothing are in great need. Household linens, bedding of sheets, blankets, pillows, shoes, boots, socks, new underwear, bra's and stockings are greatly needed.

Many of us have learned lessons when we give our monies to others to assist with charity work and we ourselves, have found that we know now where our money goes. We provide, out of our own income, all the expenses for the office work needs to keep MSO up and running and have a mailing list of over 1000 people. We have found it is more budget wise to keep the inter net our friend and keep our personal donations also in the right directions for food and clothing for the children and elders above and beyond the office expenses. Call us grass roots and down to earth for that is what we are. We consider ourselves children of the earth who are strongly guided by the Great Creator and we are comfortable with that aspect of ourselves.
