It was two in the
afternoon when she sat down for a reading with her mother. They
were both interested on how they could both further develop
themselves in their individual lives. But Lena wanted something
different. She wanted to know the reasons why she has this kind
of relationship with this man. She was about to tell me the
details but I stopped her explaining to her that I usually
refrain from asking questions. This ensured her of an unbiased
reading. But she wanted more and asked me if I could regress her
to her past lives with Roberto.
After she woke up from
the past life regression, I asked her what she saw. She saw
nothing. I told her that her present state of mind might not be
able to take the situations that should had been revealed to her.
So it ended with me regressing as I touched her left hand and
slowly relaxed. It was like a scene from a film.
I saw a woman dressed in
a white, ruffled gown. In her hand rested an umbrella in the same
hue a nd style as her dress. She was on a boat, floating in a
serene lake. Slowly she maneuvered the boat towards the shore
where her fiancee waited for her with a smile on his lips. This
was Roberto and Lena was the woman.
As Lena approached the
shore, I sensed this apprehension within her. She had these mixed
feelings. She had been going out with another man whom she really
loved. At this point, she was confused on what to do since her
wedding with Roberto was two weeks away. As the boat's nose
caressed the grass on the shoreline as Roberto slowly helped her
out of the vessel. With a sudden thrust, Roberto pushed her into
the water.
She struggled with all
her strength to get out of his treacherous grip. Thoughts of
hatred raced through Roberto' s mind regarding her
unfaithfulness. He knew all along what was transpiring between
Lena and her lover. If she would not end up as his wife, then she
would not be anybody else' s woman. He forced her under the water
until the last breath escaped from her gaping mouth...
Then I saw a cobblestone
street with lamp posts lighted up for illuminating the night. It
was a different time and place. There was a lighted entrance from
one of the buildings. Judging from the building' s architecture,
it was at the beginning of this century. A laughing couple slowly
went out of the building, s entrance. It was Lena and her lover
of the previous lifetime. Lena was an entertainer in a club. Her
lover was there to fetch her safely home. They were both in high
spirits as they slowl y went down a short flight of stairs into
the street.
As they crossed the
street they heard a loud screeching sound. An automobile
deliberately swept them off their feet and sent them hurling into
space. It was Roberto. He had been wooing Lena for years. Lena
used the huge gap between their ages as an excuse for her to turn
him down and instead decided to marry her present lover. He would
not let that happen. Lena survived the hit and run incident, but
her lover died on the spot. According to Roberto, he was just
driving by when he saw what happened . As he got down from his
car and approached the prostrated bodies he recognized her, he
immediately brought her to the hospital.
The incident left her
incapacitated. There was no way for her to make a living as a
lame singer. Roberto offered to marry and take care of her. She
had no other choice, so she agreed with a heavy heart. Roberto
was true to his promise, he took care of her and gave her
everything. Yet she felt totally alone, a prisoner in her own
house, longing for the good times she had with her deceased
lover.
As I opened my eyes, I
glanced at Lena's face, which was white as a sheet. I asked her
what the reading meant for her. She said it was happening all
over again. Roberto is twenty years her senior and at this point
she is so aggravated by his persistence. He calls her in the
morning, lunch and evening. She tried to sway him away but he
kept coming back. I told her that he is unconsciously repeating a
past life pattern And I told her that she has the choice to
change it all and break the pattern and drama that they had
unknowingly duplicated in their past lives. She released a sigh
of relief.
