Custuomized Dolls

On this page I will talk about Dolls I have customized.

So far I have only 1 completed custom doll. she is a dream at least to me. She came about as a challenge, made her look like one of my girlfriends. I have never customized a doll and I am not a seamstress or particularly crafty person. But when I received a challenge to make a Barbie look like one of my friends I just couldn't pass it up. So I went out and bought a Flea Market special and got started with her. below is a list of the items I used and the prices I paid for each Item this doll was rather inexpensive to create as compared with many of my fellow collectors. but I have to start somewhere. :|

DOLL OUTFIT & ACCESSORIES! COST

Doll a cut & style redhead (hair badly choped ..........$5.00

a bakpack off a key chain,......... B'd Present value about $3.00

a denim shorts and tie up shirt set B'd present value about $2.00

1 pair black tenis shoes (had on hand) Value about........... $1.00

1 silver vintage belt. not sure of value had on hand........... $1.00

1 pair gold rim glasses also vintage value not known......... $1.00

2 neck pieces hand made Unknown value........................ $1.00

1 gold ring made of paper (foil) value.................................. $0.02

1 pair gold hoop earings hand made value unknown......... $1.00

So as you can tell this doll was very inexpensive.
