Municipal congregation of highly educated, professional believers in a city of 7,500. Sunday School increased 22% primarily due to addition of new classes. Worship attendance rose 35%. Discipleship Training experienced its highest levels in recorded history (31 years) and nearly exceeded Sunday School attendance.

Forty-one (41) first-time professions of faith; 93 rededications of faith. Baptized 12 (three pending) -- a ratio of 1:11, the highest number of baptisms in thirteen years.

• Spiritual growth and development increased significantly.
• Developed and implemented a program of intentional evangelism and one-on-one discipleship called TEAM-V (very similar to FAITH).
• Modeled a clear biblical purpose and vision for the church.
• Reintroduced WMU, RA's, GA's.
• Revitalized the Brotherhood program.
• Hosted many highly successful "Pastor Classes" which addressed the biblical perspective to current issues.
• Implemented new member indoctrination and training.
• Planned and oversaw a highly successful city wide youth rally.

Vision casting, expository biblical preaching, visitation and fellowship, missions and evangelism, discipleship training, and a strong social ministry were key emphases during this ministry.
