Why: To treat depression.
When: Take before breakfast, with a glass of water.
How: Can be taken with or without food. Do not crush or chew this medication before swallowing it.
Instructions: The full effects of this medication may be felt only after several days or weeks. Don't stop taking this medication without first checking with your doctor or pharmacist.
Take this medication at the same time every day to have a constant level in your body. DON'T miss a dose.
Keep all doctor's appointments so he or she can monitor your response to this medication.
Be careful if you must drive or perform hazardous tasks until you know how this medication affect you.
If You Forget: Once a day. Take as soon as Possible. If you miss one day, DON'T DOUBLE the dose the next day.
Possible Side Effects: Most people experience few or no side effects with this medication, but the following effects have been reported: nausea, drowsiness, troubles with ejaculation, headache, weight gain, sweating.
If you observe one or many of these effects and if they persist or worsen, talk to your pharmacist about it.
Precautions To Consider: Inform your doctor or your pharmacist if you are pregnant or intend to become so while using this medication.
This drug passes into breast milk: discontinue nursing or avoid drug. Consult your doctor or your pharmacist.
Inform your doctor if you have any other medical problems such as: livcer (cirrhosis, hepatitis), kidney (insufficieny), convulsions.
DON'T take alcohol with this medication.
This medication may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight or sunlamp. Ask your pharmacist about a suitable sunblock product (of at least SPF 15) to minimize problems during exposure.
This medication can modify the effectiveness of other products. Ask your pharmacist's advice before taking other products.
Before having surgery, including a dental surgery, inform your doctor or dentist about your medication.
