Farmhouses can be as interesting as the barns. Unfortunately, there seems to be less of these around in the locations that we visited. Here are photos of the ones we did find; some are old and others are not-so-old. Then there are those buildings that are not part of a farm, but have a unique or charming character - an old country store or pharmacy. Photos of these interesting structures are presented here, too.

The photo on the left was taken about 2 years ago; the other was taken in April 1999. The decay in this short time period is obvious.

We're not quite sure if this is a house or some unusual type of farm storage building.
