NORTH CAROLINA

North Carolina State Flag

Welcome to our North Carolina Page.

We moved to Western North Carolina in October of 2001, where we found the lovely, quaint town of Waynesville just half an hour west of Asheville, home of the Biltmore Estate.

the Biltmore House

Since that time, we have fallen in love with the area.
We live Southeast of Waynesville in a small community called Bethel,
nestled in the Pigeon River Valley.
Our home sits on the side of a mountain where we have
a lovely stream running through our property.
We are surrounded by mountains. The Blue Ridge to the
South of us, and the Smoky Mountains to the North.
When we look out from our front porch,
we can see Cold Mountain. As you know Cold Mountain
was the subject of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel
of the same name, and will soon be a motion picture.
