Seeking information on ancestors, siblings and descendants of KARL FREDERICK WILLIAM AHRENDT (m: HANNA WILHELMINA CARDINE WILKE on 5-18-1862 in Germany) and their children:
    1. Bertha Ahrendt (b: 10-10-1864 in Yagou, Germany; m: Herman Gramke 12-4-1886 in Chicago, IL; d: 10-16-1942 in Lyon Co., KS)
    2. Charles Ahrendt (b: 1872; m: Mary Wilke)

Karl Ahrendt died of cholera in Germany shortly before they were to come to the United States. Hanna came to the United States with other members of the Wilke family. Hanna was pregnant with Charles when she left Germany and he was the first U.S.-born Ahrendt of this lineage. Karl and Hanna were my great grandparents.
