Brownie Cake

        Brownie Cake



        1/2 cup butter
        1 cup sugar
        4 eggs
        1 teaspoon vanilla
        1 can chocolate syrup
        1 cup sifted flour
        1/2 teaspoon salt
        1 cup chopped walnuts

        Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and chocolate syrup. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Beat together until well blended. Stir in nuts. Butter and flour 9x12-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
        Frosting:
        1 cup sugar
        2 tablespoons butter
        1/4 cup milk
        1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

        Cook sugar, milk, and butter to full boil. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips. Blend quickly. Spread on cake while hot.
