Our philosophy of breeding is quite simple. We caused these lives to be, and we are morally responsible for them their entire lives. Our involvement doesn't end with finding them the perfect home. We continue correspondence, in some case real friendships, with our babies new families. How can we not be friends with someone who calls on a regular basis to tell us the wonderful incredible things their Turkey is doing?
We tend to spay and neuter our breeding animals quite young.
Sometimes, these animals are available for adoption. We wish for them to
spend the rest of their lives sleeping on velvet cushions and being
spoiled silly by their new care giver like CH Galatia Mazo de la Roche, pictured right.
Other times we find it impossible to part with an older cat. Some have attached themselves so firmly to our hearts we couldn't bear to let go! Combine this with two people both working full time and you can see why we have to keep our breeding down to a small and manageable limit.
We breed firstly for health, secondly for temperament and thirdly for colour and type. All our animals are health and disposition guaranteed. Each kitten is examined and inoculated by a veterinarian at 8 weeks and again at 14 weeks. They don't leave home without their rabies vaccination!
