Welcome to the Club Page
There are literally hundreds of different clubs set up on the internet covering a myriad of different topics, some serious, and some just for fun. Becoming a member of one of these clubs is a way of bringing people with similiar interests together, much like club meetings out there in the non-electronic world. Most clubs encourage active participation, but many are quite happy to let you sit back in your comfy chair and watch the activities going on around you, so whether you're a 'doer' or a 'lurker' there's always going to be something going on that will attract your attention.
I admit to being more of a lurker with these clubs, mainly because I find it is difficult to find the time to become more actively involved, though that doesn't necessarily mean that I'm not interested in what is happening. I decided to create this particular page for two reasons:
- To tidy up my site and make it easier to Navigate, and make some of the pages a little less grapic intensive - thereby speeding up the download time.
- To provide easy and quick links to some of my favourite clubs - my way of promoting them and hopefully bringing in new members.
Onto the Clubs
Rosie, Havoc, Tasha Yar & Paige are proud members of...
The Back Fence Cat Club

If you own cats, then you really should try this link. You won't be allowed to join, membership is strictly for cats only. But if you're really good, then maybe your cat will let you sit in on meetings and attend the parties! :-)
The Animal Lovers Club

A club for anyone with a love for animals, I consider myself a big animal lover, though actually that only extends to anything with four legs or less, anything with more than four legs is just a living nightmare for me - and I'm particularly Arachnaphobic!!
Line Around the World
Much like many of the Web Rings, except Line Around the World is not specific to any particular topic.
This is the Line Around the World. It's an effort to get people all around
this beautiful planet of ours to be nice to each other. And while we're at
it, we might as well meet other great people on the World Wide Web. The way
it works is this: A list is being kept, in exact order, of people who've registered to be part of this line. Each person connects to the people in front
and in back of her/him on that list, forming one long line around the internet
But the great part is that all the people who include themselves in this line
are honor-bound to go out of their way to perform an act of goodness. This
could be anything from giving 5 dollars or more to the charity of your choice
to making lunch for the homeless man out on the corner to complimenting
everyone you meet for a month. It's different for different people, but
all these people want to do something to make life happier and better. If you
might like to join, simply click on the line for more information.

Netaholics Anonymous

When I first got online I spent endless hours just surfing around, and this site seemed most appropriate! You don't have to join, but you should really pay a visit just to read things like "You know you're hooked on the Internet if..."

Lost In Webspace Club

The world's largest Homepage club. It takes a dog's age to download, so please be patient.
