I used to be a full-time, stay-at-home mom.
Now that Andrew is in college and Steven is in high school,
I am working part-time as a program coordinator at a public library.
I used to teach in the public school system in Indiana,
and I taught English courses at Oakland City University,
a small Christian university in southern Indiana.
Mostly I taught writing and literature courses.
For many years my areas of special literary interest have been
Indiana authors and the Restoration theatre.

I still tutor, volunteer at our local library,
and try to be involved in my children's lives as much as I can.

As for me, I've reached the age where walking in the rain
no longer has the romantic appeal it used to,
now I find myself thinking of wet feet and colds.
However, lest you think I've no romance in my soul,
I will confess to a fascination with Keanu Reeves,
whom I definitely do not want for his mind.

As Anne McCaffrey says, "all else is subject to change."
