December '96
Hugs is the name of our second mascot and she is a little Tuxedo bear. She is starting her travels with a troop from Salina KS. Hugs spent time with Marcia's troop and made several new friends.

January 1997
Hugs visited with Tina's troop in Eldorado IL, we hope she is behaving herself and having a good time as she travels from state to state.

February
Hugs has arrived safetly in Westfield NJ. She is looking forward to spending some time with Nancy's troop and meeting all sorts of other friends. Hugs got to meet 9 other mascots and participate in a Valentines Day party. Oh what fun is this little bear having!

March
Well now it's on to Laredo TX where Hugs is spending time with Renee's troop. She will be going to Mexico and San Antonio for a modeling session at The Limited Too. Sounds like she will be having a lot of fun.

April
Hugs is now spending time in Waunakee WI with Janine's troop. This is the closest she will be to home before actually coming home. Hugs is having to much fun to be homesick. Only two more months before we get to see our little Hugs again and learn about all the neat girl scouts she has met.

May
What a lucky little bear traveling all around the states. Hugs is currently in Clifton Springs NY with Deborah's troop. She will be spending time with each girl in the troop. Sure hope she behaves herself and we know she will have a good time.

June & July
Hugs is still with Deborah's troop in NY. We hope she will soon be on her way to Sonja's troop in Kansas. We hope to hear from Hugs or Deborah soon.

This is the second mascot we have started on her way. We can't wait until June of 1997 when both of our mascots return home and we can read about the places they have been and the people they have met. Unfortunately Hugs NEVER returned home.
