I have lived in Wisconsin all my life, and I have found that nothing
evokes warm feelings of friendship and family than a country church
supper, and I will be posting some of the great recipes right here.
One warm and hearty main dish my family loves is "Church Beans",
although some of you may recognize it as Ranch Beans. Couple it
with warm bisquits and you have a quick, easy meal.

Church Beans
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 diced onion (optional)
- One large can B&M baked beans (do not drain)
- One small can butter beans (drain)
- One small can red kidney beans (drain)
- 3/4 cup Barbeque sauce
Brown the ground meat with the onions, drain. Add all the beans and
the BBQ sauce, mix. Heat through. Serve. This is easy to make in
the microwave, and tastes even better the next day after sitting in
the refridgerator and allowing the flavors to meld.
