Our Vacation to Orlando, Florida
August 30 - September 7, 2003
Yep, yet another vacation to Florida :) This year we stayed at Sheraton Vistana Villages, and as always our week was perfect!! Well, except for getting lost a few times, but hey, we were on vacation and had a whole week to find our way back :) Here's some outdoor pictures of where we stayed.
Our suite was very nice :) I WILL find a way to bring one of those king size beds back with us, one of these trips ;)

We spent 2 days at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure :) This is Abe with Popeye.
A person just can't pass up the opportunity to get a blue tongue from a Blue Raspberry Slush!!! :)
We usually shy away from water rides, but we said, "What the heck", and rode on Dudley Doo-Right's Ripsaw Falls. We didn't just get WET, we got TOTALLY DRENCHED!!!!!!
We spent most of the week at the pools. This hotel had a whole acre of pools, fully equipped with water falls, and even a "quiet pool".
The rest of our time was spent eating at "All you can eat Seafood Bars", and just veggin' in our suite :)
Abe made friends with some of the Chameleon's down there. There were THOUSANDS of them!! I was almost sure, we were gonna come home with a new "pet", but those suckers can MOVE!!
This Bird of Paradise plant was right at the entrance to our suite, and who could pass up taking a picture of it's beauty?
That was our week!! A nice relaxing getaway for two :) Not bad, considering that the whole week there was a Hurricane headed for the east coast of Florida, and a Tropical Storm actually hit the west coast of Florida, and we were kinda sandwiched in between with the threat of it all, but no real worries :) How's that for luck?
