31. Jonathan⁵ SPALDING (Elijah⁴, William³, Andrew², Edward¹, Wilfred^A) was born in NY.

Jonathan served in the Revolutionary Army.⁽¹⁷¹⁴⁾ He was a private in the Berkshire Co., Regt., from 15-31 July 1776; a private in Capt. Roswell Downing's Co., Col. John Ashley's Regt., 6-27 July 1777, and marched to Kingsbury by request of Maj. Gen. Schuyler; in the same Co. and Regt. from 19 September-27 October 1777; also in same Co. and Regt. from 15-17 October 1780.

Jonathan SPALDING had the following child:

37 i. Electa⁶ SPALDING. She married Reuben HICKOK 9 OCT 1788.⁽¹⁷¹⁵⁾
