When Purr made the decision to move to Costa Rica, she was also faced with the decision of what to do with her sweet furry friends. They would face a six month quarantine to come into Costa Rica, and that seemed terribly unkind and selfish. So, they stayed in Boise where they could remain together and receive lots of good care. But they are missed and loved. Here they are.

Mina was a blue Oriental Shorthair. The most special of the furbabies. Mina used to sleep on Purr's neck, to keep her cozy and warm. Mina crossed the Rainbow Bridge in November, 1999. She will always be close to Purr's heart!

This is Shamus, the sweetest Shetland Sheepdog in the entire world.

Here is Tache (French for "spot"). She never saw an open suitcase that she didn't crawl into!

This is Thai Wun. Sweet and very, very soft. And a BRAT CAT!

Thai Thu - the only one who could never adjust to being strictly indoors. The wild one of the bunch - very independent. Sadly, Thai Thu died in January 1998 from kidney failure. Descanse en paz, Querida.

Shamus and Cujo - the name fits.... Shamus was just a baby here. Cujo was a Cairn Terrier, just like Toto in the Wizard of Oz. Cujo couldn't resist the need to fly, and he flew to Heaven in 1999. Enjoy your eternal freedom buddy!

Well, that's it - except for the feral cats who lived outside and allowed us to feed them. The number varied, but Jasper was always there. I trapped them and had them all spayed and neutered. After that, Jasper became friendly. The others never forgave me!
