A letter from John dated 20th April 1998:
"......I am a New Zealander but have been living in England for some years. My mother was from Cambridge and I grew up on the stories of my Grandfather and Great Grandfather and their families.
I started to trace my Mother's family the WHITE-ROBINSONS but got hooked on the BINGEs as my grandfather's mother was Elizabeth BINGE born 1848 in Dry Drayton.
Before I began my research I had never heard the name BINGE, but as they had lived in Dry Drayton for over two hundred years they were the easiest line to follow. I am related to both of the brothers of Esther BINGE. This came about by Edward's(c.1773) granddaughter Mary Ann Cornel becoming the second wife of his brother William's(c.1775) son William(c.1800)........"
John has kindly given me permission to put his complete database on this page. He is confident that it contains every entry for the name BINGE in the Dry Drayton registers, entries for other parishes are not complete.
The entries in italics are what he has surmised, everything else is as it appears in the register.
