When I was eight years old I asked Jesus to come into my heart and forgive my sins. He has been my Friend ever since.

Perhaps you ask why a little child would need God's forgiveness? I had committed sins and knew I was a sinner. I had told lies, and disobeyed my parents, and lashed out in anger against others. I am still a sinner to this day.

Why, what sins does an old lady commit? Aren't her wicked days behind her? Old ladies have sins particular to themselves: Gossip, Pride, Bitterness . . . these are just a few.

Jesus is God Incarnate -- this means 'God in the Flesh'. God loved us so much that He stepped out of eternity and into time as a human being. He gave His life as payment for the evil that you and I have done. But then, He rose from the grave to prove that He is God and can save us from our sins. If He had not, we would have been separated forever from our loving Father in Heaven.

If you are sorry for your sins, ask Jesus to come into your life and change your heart. The Bible says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God loves you very much. Wouldn't you like to spend forever with someone who loves you?
