,51, of Route 6, Decatur Died at 10:40 PM Tuesday.
Born July 1, 1913, he was the son of Peter and Marry Ann
Kohlbecker. He married Eulah Leek, in Evergreen Kentucky. A retired
sheet metal worker at the A.E. Staley Mfg. Co., he lived in Decatur
35 years, coming here from Springfield. He was a member of the St.
Patrick's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife; 1 son, Bernard L.
of Decatur; 3 daughters, Mrs. Michael (Roberta) Childs of Decatur,
Mrs. James (Diana) Queen of San Diego,Calf. and Sue Kohlbecker of
Decatur;1 brother Norman of Decatur; 2 sisters, Mrs. Sam (Frances)
Wiggins and Mrs. Lawrence (Jeanette) Moore of Decatur and 5
grandchildren. Requiem High Mass will be at 9am Monday at St.
Patrick's Church . Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Rosary
will be recited at 7:30pm (Sunday) at J.J. Moran and Sons Funeral
Home by the St. Vincent Depaul Society Members .

The remains of Mrs. Mary A. Kohlbecker, who died in Jacksonville,
were brought to this city her home, yesterdayand they were taken to
the residence, 910 South Eleveth Street, the funeral will occur
tomorrow at 8:30, and at the sacred heart church at 9 o'clock. Mrs.
Kohlbecker was born in Germany and lived in this county 39 years. She
was the wife of Peter Kohlbecker. She is survived by 2 sons, Peter of
this city and Antone of Cincinnati: 2 Daughters Mrs.Peter Nisius and
Miss Anna Kohlbecker of this city: 3 sisters, Mrs. M. Smith, Mrs. M.
Troesch and Mrs. John Kehlbruck: 1 brother, John Schmidt, of
Milwaukee. The deaceased had been in an asylum in Jacksonvill for
mental treatment.
