Ode to Shedding Labs

I find it in the bathrooms, in the kitchen, in the fridge,
It settles in the bathtubs, on the counters, in the hall,
It floats into the corners,
No place is safe at all.

It gathers in the doorways, on the pillows, in my car,
It travels in my pockets, in my purses, on my clothes,
I cannot seem to lose it;
Why it's even in my toes!

It's much too tough for Swiffers,
For mops and brooms and such,
I guess it's just the price you pay,
When you love your labs so much.
