and christened Nov 28 1725 at Newchurch by Culcheth Kenyon,
the son of Thomas THOMASON & Ellen GREEN
who had married Jan 1st 1716 at St Oswald's Winwick Lancashire.

Alice LYTHGOE was born abt 1725-27 in Leigh,
the daughter of Richard LYTHGOE & Mary.

Peter & Alice had 7 children, all born in Culcheth (Winwick Parish):
1) Peter b Aug 19 1751 / chr Sep 15
married Margaret GREEN on Jan 9 1772 at St Oswald's Winwick (11 children)
(Margaret was the daughter of Thomas GREEN & Catherine BERRY)

2) Ann b Apr 6 1754 / chr Apr 12
Little Ann died bef 1758

3) James b May 1st 1757 / May 11
4) Ann b Jun 23 1758 / chr Jul 9

5) Benjamin b Sep 13 1760 / chr Sep 28
married Parnell HAMPSON on Dec 6 1785 in Wigan Lancashire (4 children)
(Parnell was the daughter of William HAMPSON)

6) Richard b Jan 8 1763 / chr Jan 30

7) Ellen b Dec 4 1765 / Dec 29
married William HILL on Feb 6 1785 at St Oswald's Winwick (5 children)

Peter THOMASON was buried at Newchurch-in-Culcheth on 25 May 1805.
The entry reads ---
Peter, son of Thomas Thomason of Culcheth, the Celeybrated bagpipe plear age 79.

Peter THOMASON & Alice LYTHGOE were my 6X GR grandparents !!
