Several of my JACKSON ancestors were born in Gorsey Brow in Billinge .

FAMILY CONNECTIONS

In the course of researching the FARRIMOND and LITTLER family trees,
I've made contact with several others who are researching the same surnames!

The LITTLER connections are:
i) my GR grandfather's brother ROBERT's family on Vancouver Island!
I found Robert's grandson's wife's name at 'Rootsweb' on the Net!
From this dear woman, I've been given my GR GR grandparents' names:
HENRY LITTLER and ELIZABETH JACKSON
as well as the ancestry of Elizabeth Jackson LITTLER as far back
as has been traced by relatives in the UK,
Also, all my GR grandfather's siblings names and many of their descendants!

She also sent me several family photos and one in particular that I love and have framed ~~
My grandfather Henry at the tender age of 10 or so, with his parents and elder sister Agnes ...
no one in my family had ever seen these relatives at these ages before!!
What a treasured gift!!

sister to my GR GR grandfather, Henry who married Elizabeth JACKSON.

She has passed on the full names of Noah's siblings, their spouses and children!
I am presently looking forward to receiving some old family photos from her when she's able.

my GR grandmother Mary Haddock THOMASON's half-sister.

daughter of William Tichborne THOMASON
via both his wives, Matilda LEIGH and Mary Margaret LEIGH.

iv) The grand-daughter of Annie THOMASON (Noah's sister) and William LORD
has contacted me and shared her branch's info.

v) The wife of a descendant of Noah THOMASON & Betsy CROFT's daughter Sarah,
who was sister to our John who married Esther TICHBORNE (Phew!)

vi) A descendant of John THOMASON who was the brother of Margaret THOMASON,
mother of my GR GR GR grandfather Noah b 1811
She has given me most of the lineage back to 1600s.
