"edge of darkness" was an excellent read. other bios of clapton tend to gloss over the periods that
are so well-known. this book goes into detail about them and more importantly, about clapton
himself. this book takes him off the pedestal he himself may never have wanted to be on and places
him directly with the rest of us.

If you love Eric Clapton then you need to get this book.
"Eric Clapton unplugged" has done wonders for me. Im currently 16 and I believe that without this
book I would never been introduced to the world of the blues. Eric's music has brought me closer to
my music by introducing songs to me like "Layla" and "tears in heaven." and especially an updated
version of Robert Johnson within his music. I have no choice but rate this book five stars and honor
the true living god, Slow Hand, The creame of the Crop. Eric Clapton.
