Ballou (Major) in Cumberland, RI, 11/29/1767. Reuben was born in Cumberland, RI 11/26/1747. He was the son of Ezekiel Ballou and Joanna Cook. He married Freelove Whipple 1/30/1787. Reuben died 9/19/1803 in Providence, RI, at 55 years of age. His body was interred in Cumberland, RI, Ballou Cemetery. (See Reuben B. Ballou (Major) for the continuation of this line.)
