21. Silas⁸ Bourne (Melatiah⁷, Shearjasub⁶, Richard⁵, William⁴, William³, William², John¹) was born 12/10/1701. Silas died 4/10/1772 at 70 years of age.

He married Mary Allen 2/8/1730. She was the daughter of James Allen and Mary Bourne. Mary died 1/4/1797.

Silas Bourne and Mary Allen had the following children:

+ 24 i. James⁹ Bourne was born 2/21/1731.

25 ii. Melatiah Bourne was born 1734. He married Mary Howes.

26 iii. Silas Bourne was born 1737. He married twice. He married Fear Parker. He married Abigail Bourne 1762.

27 iv. Mary Bourne was born 1739.
