8. Shearjasub⁶ Bourne (Richard⁵, William⁴, William³, William², John¹) was born in Barnstable or Sandwich, MA 4/21/1643. Shearjasub died 3/7/1719 in Barnstable or Sandwich, MA, at 75 years of age.

He married Bathsheba Skiff 1673. Bathsheba was born in Barnstable or Sandwich, MA 4/20/1648. She was the daughter of James Skiff and Mary unknown. Bathsheba died 5/13/1714 in Barnstable or Sandwich, MA, at 66 years of age.

Shearjasub Bourne and Bathsheba Skiff had the following children:

+ 10 i. Melatiah⁷ Bourne was born 1/12/1673/4.

11 ii. Ezra Bourne was born 1676. Ezra died 1764. He married Martha Prince 1698.

12 iii. Mary Bourne was born in Sandwich, MA 10/21/1678. Mary died 5/20/1722 in Chilmark, MA, at 43 years of age. She married James Allen. James was born in Tisbury, MA 1674. James died 2/14/1723/4 in Chillmark, MA. (See James Allen for the continuation of this line.)

13 iv. Sarah Bourne was born 1680.

14 v. Remember Bourne was born 1680. She married Experience Mayhew (Rev.) 1711.

15 vi. Patience Bourne was born in Sandwich, MA 4/20/1686. Patience died 2/13/1765 in W. Tisbury, MA, at 78 years of age. She married Joseph Allen. Joseph was born in Tisbury, MA 1685. He was the son of James Allen and Elizabeth Partridge. Joseph died 3/10/1726/7 in Tisbury, MA. (See Joseph Allen for the continuation of this line.)
