23. Sylvanus⁹ Cobb (James⁸, James⁷, Henry⁶, Henry⁵, Richard⁴, Alexander³, Thomas², John¹) was born in Barnstable, MA 11/25/1700. Sylvanus died 9/30/1756 in Barnstable, MA, at 55 years of age.

He married Mercy Baker in Barnstable, MA, 11/7/1728. Mercy was born 2/4/1706. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Baker and Mercy unknown. Mercy died 3/4/1781 in Middleboro, MA, at 75 years of age.

Sylvanus Cobb and Mercy Baker had the following child:
