2. Samuel² Hinckley (Robert¹) was born in Harrietsham, Kent, England 5/25/1589. Samuel died 10/31/1662 in Barnstable, MA, at 73 years of age.

He married Sarah Soole in England, 5/17/1617. Sarah was born in England 6/8/1600. Sarah died 8/18/1656 in Barnstable, MA, at 56 years of age.

Samuel Hinckley and Sarah Soole had the following children:

+ 3 i. Thomas³ Hinckley (Gov.) was born 1618.

4 ii. Sarah Hinckley was born in St. Martin of-the-Fields, London, England about 1629. Sarah died 1687 in Barnstable, MA. She married Henry Cobb (Elder) in Barnstable, MA, 12/2/1649. Henry was born in Reculver, Kent, England 1596. He was the son of Henry Cobb and Pleasance Reddwood. He married Patience Hurst in Barnstable or Plymouth, MA, 1631. Henry died 6/3/1679 in Barnstable, MA. (See Henry Cobb (Elder) for the continuation of this line.)

She was christened in Tenterden, Kent, England, 11/22/1629.
