15. Samuel⁷ Cobb (Henry⁶, Henry⁵, Richard⁴, Alexander³, Thomas², John¹) was born in Barnstable, MA 10/12/1654. Samuel died 12/27/1727 in Barnstable, MA, at 73 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Taylor in Barnstable, MA, 12/20/1680. She was the daughter of Richard Taylor and Ruth Wheldon. Elizabeth died 5/4/1721 in Barnstable, MA.

Samuel Cobb and Elizabeth Taylor had the following children:

21 i. Sarah⁸ Cobb was born in Barnstable, MA 8/20/1681. Sarah died 1/14/1742 in Hyannis, MA, at 60 years of age. She married Benjamin Bearse Sr. in Barnstable, MA, 2/4/1701/2. Benjamin was born in Barnstable, MA 6/21/1682. He was the son of Joseph Bearse and Martha Taylor. He married Anna Nickerson in Chatham, MA, 8/25/1747. Benjamin died 5/15/1748 in Hyannis, MA, at 65 years of age. (See Benjamin Bearse Sr. for the continuation of this line.)

+ 22 ii. Eleazer Cobb was born 1/14/1696.
