For over 20 years, this prayer and song has been a tradition for Camp Dale Resler. Campers and Staffers have many memories surrounding our wonderful camp, grace at every meal, and a song sung by the blaze of a campfire. No matter what your experience was at Camp Dale Resler, we all have same the grace and song in our hearts as a shared memory of camp. We all thank the many scouters, who created these words, for 20 years of tradition.

Camp Dale Resler Prayer

We thank thee Lord for daily bread,
As by thy grace our souls are fed.
Grant us to grow more like to thee,
This day and through eturnity.

As the coals of our campfire lay dying,
And the winds through the pines softly sighing,
My thoughts they reflect on Dale Resler,
Of the hardships and joys we had there.

Scouts remember a place held so true,
With fellowships of friends old and new;
Of a camp near a high mountain pass
A flowing with tall sleepy grass.
