The picture above was taken by Assistant Scoutmaster,
Greg Wilson. It was taken just moments before leaving for a hike
down the "Fresnal Canyon", near La Luz, New Mexico.
That's me...(second from left, bottom row), about to leave on my
"First Hike" with the Troop. Notice the lunchbag! I was "Prepared"! That hike...to me...seemed to never end. It was only about 10 miles, but all on "dirt road",and at the time, the scenery wasn't that appealing. But...since I've become the "Scoutmaster", I've taken the Troop there 3 times. If it was good enough for me...ahh...you know!
